Hey everyone, I'm going to Europe for a week so it'll just be Andrew posting probably. Send him a message and tell him to make a new web video with the camera he just got!
Hey everyone, I just posted up some pictures from the bowl on my website but I'm so tired/lazy that I don't feel like reposting them here so if you want to see them, go to:
www.ootibilleaud.com
Make my website your homepage while you're at it. ;)
I made this blog post on the Ride site about my old Aster house shown in David Gamble's video a few posts below... Go read it and leave a comment on that page with your memories from Disaster Aster!
Yes, that's correct. Some ungrateful kids have already tagged the bowl. And they didn't just do a few tags... there were 21 big tags total. Some of the things they tagged were a pentagram, slipknot, and ICP amongst other stupid things. Alex Nunez has pictures on his digital camera but I don't have them. Fortunately, Roy Harrison (same guy putting on the Mardi Gras jam), Alex Nunez, and Shannon May literally spent ALL DAY doing their best to remove the graffiti with chemicals and a pressure washer and they got about 95% of it off. You can't paint over graffiti (even though Hammond did) because it makes the surface slippery. So when you go to the jam, bring a case of Budweiser for those guys because they put in a ton of work to try and keep the bowl looking nice.
ALSO, THERE IS A REWARD FOR ANYONE WITH INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST OF THE KIDS THAT TAGGED THE BOWL. So spread the word.
My friend and fellow skate ripper, Roy Harrison, is putting on a bowl jam on Mardi Gras day in Lafayette. It's for bikes and boards and there will be bands and what not so it should be a good time. Of course it is all free. Spread the word!
Empire BMX is having a huge frame sale on their site. I just counted and they seriously have 67 frames on sale all for $149.95 so if you're looking for a new frame, copy and paste the link below and check to see what they've got.
David was in town 3 weeks ago for a full week of bike shredding and good times! heres the video, i think this is his very first edit he has made (besides his butthole bash: SEE A FEW POST DOWN) and it has an awesome, laid back feel to it. PEEP IT
My Brother, David Gamble, and a few of our friends from Vegas have a pretty sweet blog that they started. Some BMX, Insightful thoughts, Videos, and just random funny shit are some of the thing you can find on there. CHECK IT OUT HERE keep up on it. good things to come.
When David Gamble was in town I took him to this rail that i knew he would destroy. but before he he could do that, the rail destroyed his butthole and ruined the next 2 days for david. heres the footy

Once the jumps in Lafayette look like Catty (with how fast Stephen digs, I'd say a week or so), I'm going to TRY and make a little video of what's been going on down there lately.
ALSO, I want everyone to know that Tommy, Brad, Danny, and Spencer have all put in a shitload of work on the jumps (along with Stephen of course) in the past few weeks. So if you see any of those dudes, thank them for making the trails fun again cause they have been working their asses off.
Here are some pictures of everyone jumping the dirt jumps when they were more like dirt hills. They're way sweet now. Tommy has a gnarly tire tread mark on his forehead. It's awesome. Tommy, where are you? Show them your tire head. jkjkjkjk. Umm, you can see more pictures at the link below.
When I first met Derek, I always thought he'd be that guy to quit in a month or so but I couldn't have been more wrong (he keeps proving this to me every time I see him ride and he's that much better than me). It's awesome to see how much he truly loves and is dedicated to BMX. I mean, I'm not calling him the next Garrett Reynolds, I'm just calling him that guy who's going to keep riding his bike until he can't anymore. I know Derek pretty well... almost on a brotherly level (we've gotten into it quite a few times) and I can honestly say he is one of the best people in BMX that I know.
I just got this in from Stephen Outten about an upcoming jam. They're putting in a lot of work at the dirt jumps. Seriously, I don't know how he digs so fucking fast.
"Just a heads up to all the trail rats around. Motivation is hard to come by sometimes but me, Brad, Tommy, Danny have been diggin' on the jumps in Lafayette and making some legit stuff happen. The bowl is gonna be awesome but after school it's gonna be packed like a strippers asshole with 12 year old kids. So the bmx kids are gonna have some other stuff to ride. We're building the bigger line right now and have plans for a small/tabletop line for the kiddos. We wanna get some good lines flowing then have a bowl/trails jam. Keep your eyes peeled boys. If you wanna ride. RIDE!!! If you wanna dig, DIG!!!! I don't really care if you just come to ride but please don't tear anything up or try and make it better. BEcause the trail boss might shank you. Just a warning."
Stephen is really good at digging... I suppose there isn't a whole lot to do besides digging in the winter months of Virginia. :p
My website is done! Click the image below to go check out it out and feel free to look at my pictures, leave comments, and get high and make fun of me. :)
Disclaimer: No BMX or Skate pictures yet cause I'm not crazy about anything I've shot.
