1st Annual Mardi Gras Bowl Jam

My friend and fellow skate ripper, Roy Harrison, is putting on a bowl jam on Mardi Gras day in Lafayette. It's for bikes and boards and there will be bands and what not so it should be a good time. Of course it is all free. Spread the word!

I was kind of thinking about doing a jam, more for just bmxers, though. One weekend, around 7 when it starts to get dark, bring out the bbq pit, run multiple lights.. If everyone put up just a dollar, we would have more than enough gas to run the 5 gallon generator. Better yet, if everyone brought an extension cord, i think that there is an outlet around there somewheres. Not too sure on if that is a good idea to mooch off the cities electricity, but that big generator is too loud. Just throwing the idea out there.

that would totally work. the mardi gras jam is going to be fun too though.

we mooch the water.....

i'll put up a $1.50!! and then spend $3.73 on beer and sit around being a piece of shit making fun of everyone

true, we do mooch the water. For sure! We should hook that up, possibly this weekend, or next. I probably have a good 150 ft of extension cord that I can bring. I don't deny that the mardi gras jam is going to be sick, but after doing these night sessions, i don't really want to go during the day when it's flooded with skateboarders. I will be out there, hanging out most likely.

Im def down with Jeffs idea. Hadnt got to hang out with everyone in a while, sounds like a great idea.I'll put up some cash and might possibly can get ahold of some extension cords.

I got cords for days but won't be back in town til Thursday after Mardi Gras. Keep me posted.

SO what's the word? Mardi Gras night is going to be the bike session or what?
