You will not want to miss this! If you came to the last contest, this one will be bigger and better. This year we are inviting six bands to play along with all the fun. Classes will run as follows; Beginner, Intermediate and Pro, with a high hop contest and best trick during the contest. Beginner and Intermediate will get prizes, and Pro will be fighting for cash prizes! Registration begins at 10am so get there early! I haven't posted an update on the ramp in a while. Partly because it's been freezing up here and partly because Paul, our main man, broke his hand punching a pitbull in the face that was biting his dog.
We just built this 13' vertwall yesterday. Trey was trying to icepick it on his scooter and got hung up.
We are building a descending bowled corner from the top of the vertwall down to the 7' quarter. Rachal looks like an eskimo.
We gotta get loose.....................
That thing is massive. 4' of vert on it.
First person to wallslap the tiny tree behind the vertwall gets a $50 gift card to Target.

TV PRODUCER SEARCHING FOR BMX RIDER FOR NEW SERIES
Challenger Films is accepting recommendations for high school and college age BMX riders to be featured on The Real Winning Edge television series for teens.
The Winning Edge is a reality show that features three real life high school and college athletes each week who have triumphed over hardships and challenges. Each of these young people is introduced by a celebrity, such as Jeff Gordon, Martina McBride, Matt Hasselbeck, Albert Pujols, Gail Devers, Shaun Murray, and Mike Vallely. A complete list is attached. The purpose of the program is to provide good role models for teens through the latest high quality entertainment.
The series is in syndication and aired in 2007 on the Midwest Sports Network, the Southeast Sports Network, the Fox New England Sports Network, and Fox affiliates in such cities as San Francisco and Phoenix. We are currently filming our 2008 season to air in the fall on Fox affiliates across the country.

Yes, you heard correct. Another awesome contest is going down at Buck Nuttys again, and this year will be bigger and better. If you were there for last years contest, you definetly dont want to miss this one. Music is gonna be a big part this year as well, some great bands will be playing. In case you haven’t heard, Brock and I are both moving out of our house on Iowa street come February 1st. Or thats the plan at least. That means the mini ramp in our backyard has to come down and get moved out as well. I’ve been disassembling/knocking it down for the last 2 weekends and its almost all the way to the ground by now. Pretty much all of the plywood is unusable but there are some 2x4’s that could probably still be used. Some may need the ends trimmed off due to rotten edges or from me just braking them off the templates. However there may be some with good 7 ft. lengths that would still be usable for something. If you are interested in picking up any of this wood, you can have it totally free of charge. The catch is, you need to come get it very soon. Like this week. Even if you just want to move it right around the corner or up the street or even just next door, doesn’t matter to me, I just need it out of my yard. What isn’t taken this week will be brought to a dumping ground so please if you have any interest or need for any of it, don’t sleep on this. This could be a great opportunity to make a new ramp, repair an old one, or make that bunk bed you have always wanted. You can come pick it up anytime day or night.
And to my seven years at 3065 Iowa, the ramp that really got the ball rolling around here, everyone who helped erect the masterpiece of a ramp that it was, and anyone who ever came a shared a session on it with me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has certainly provided me with some unforgettable memories in an amazing chapter of my life and introduced to me to countless numbers of even more amazing people.Thanks---Brad
