I believe this is Doug Morrison, aka Doug Mirra aka flip nohander the first time he met cody miller, but you tell me:

It's called the "Biloxi whole freakin house bomber" and it will blow your freakin mind. And this time I'm taking it to the streets because I just bought a brand new freakin ANIMAL shirt after I called Shadow so I could call Adam22 to get directions to freeeegin China town and DAH SHOP after I rode every last stupid kids bike at the BANKS and made them want to quit after they saw my new freakin trick except for the kids bikes with no brakes because I need a set of brakes that lock up TEN times harder after that trick or I'll end up hitting some chinese lady in the freegin front half and get double PUMPED UP after I have to fight off her fam because they are pissed that i couln't gay jam my foot in the tire fast enough.
And Andrew I'm freeeegin coming for YOU BABY BOY! You better be on the ups with the 90 degree footjam whips if you hope to fight off my new trick. Shit will blow your freegin mind, one guy up here accidentally saw this shit and ran off real fast and probably died.
Check out a dope edit from a lat night at Ramp Age with Broc and I that Jon filmed. I think it came out super sweet. check that on TBCPARTY.COM
Also, Little Broc says that the spillway jump are up and running smooth again after turning into grass hills for a couple months. Brad Champy sent over this picture for proof. BOOYAH!!!!!!
I expected this to fill up real fast but surprisingly there are still plenty of spots left to ride BMX in Skatespot this Friday. Please sign up and make this a success so we can hopefully get a bike night at skatespot!
P.S. The decks on the concrete bowl should be done this week... Just sayin'...
So the concrete park and I made the paper today. I also took some more pictures of the bowl now that they cleaned it up. You can see it a lot better now. The dirt jumps have a bunch of weird/sweet lines now too. Bijou has been digging out there pretty much every day all day. The article and the pictures are below.

LAFAYETTE — A new public skateboard and bicycle park could be open as early as next month.
Workers are putting the finishing touches on what the casual observer might take for a large concrete swimming pool at Youth Park off Johnston Street near the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Within a few weeks, skaters and bicyclists will be shooting up the sides and carving the edges of the deep concrete bowl at Lafayette’s first public ramp park.
“We have a lot of kids and young adults doing this,” said Greg Gautreaux, manager of maintenance and athletic programs for the city’s parks and recreation department.
“Actually, they have no public facilities to go to.”
The park is likely a welcome change for many bike riders and skaters, who are usually turned away from public property rather than accommodated.
“We run ’em off,” quipped Gautreaux.
The city has two private skate parks — one open only on a limited basis — but the public park off Johnston Street will be free.
It will be only the second public concrete park in the state, following Hammond, and the first to allow bicycles, said ULL student Ooti Billeaud, a bike rider and skateboarder who worked with the city for the past four years to make the park a reality.
Billeaud drew up the basic design for the park.
He said the pool is 6 feet deep with a 7-foot extension along one edge.
On Tuesday, workers were carefully smoothing down the concrete in the large bowl and had just one small section left to pour.
Lafayette was considering a much larger ramp park about six years ago but was never able to pull together the money.
“Phase one never got off the ground because the bids came in over budget,” Gautreaux said.
The park under construction is a scaled-down version, costing the city about $80,000.
Gautreaux said he expects the park to open by late February.
“Based on the need and use of it, we’d like to see it expand,” Gautreaux said.
He said one possible location for another ramp park would be at the 18-acre Thomas Park on Geraldine Street.
Public ramp parks of various sizes are open in Shreveport, Baton Rouge and Hammond.
just another reminder about the BMX only show and session going down this Sunday at X-PLEX. Might be a best trick and big air cotest??? who knows. But make it out there and support BMX shit and see all your friends. Holla
All the transitions are poured now. The flatbottom and the deck are going to be poured in one day and that should be happening later this week. Hopefully I can give everyone a grand opening date in a week or so.
Trey Guidry sent me a text telling me "I did my first legitimate flat rail!" a few days ago and I just saw the pictures on Cory Meadows' Flickr. Sickkkkkk. flickr.com/corymeadows
They started shooting the shotcrete for the bowl today in Lafayette and by looking at how much they got done today, they'll be done shooting the transitions in probably 4 days assuming the weather does holds up. Hopefully the grand opening will happen in about 2 weeks. People have been working on the jumps too in fact I saw some d00ds out there digging today.
Okay, so there seems to be some confusion about the two Demo's coming up so let me try to clear things up.
First of all, there is going to be a Monster Energy Drink Demo/Jam at Skatespot on January 30th. Rick Thorne and his band, Good Guys In Black, are going to play. Afterwards, if you pre-registered for the jam/demo, YOU WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO BMX IN SKATESPOT. Let me repeat that. YOU CAN RIDE YOUR BIKE IN SKATESPOT IF YOU PRE-REGISTER. You will pay $12.50 (normal session fee) and you will be able to ride your bike in Skatespot for an hour and a half, I'm assuming with the Monster Team. Once the jam is over with, Rick Thorne is going to pick a rider to get flow from Monster. I shit you not. REGISTRATION HAS NOT OPENED YET so don't call until I post the rest of the details on here and inform everyone that registration has opened up. When it does open, THERE WILL BE A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED TO REGISTER (probably around 30) since the alloted time to ride is so short. It's only that short because there will be a Skate demo for an hour and a half right after, too. Pegs will be allowed and there will not be any limitations as to what you can ride or do.
Now, this demo/jam is extremely important because Skatespot has been considering offering a bike night (probably once a month) at the park. The owner is using the demo/jam kind of as a trial run to see if bikes will damage the park (which they won't because the park is solid as shit, I know because I helped build some of it). This is a really big deal for Lafayette (and Louisiana too I guess) because 1.) as far as I know, Buck Nutty's still has no power 2.) Skatespot is the biggest park in Louisiana and 3.) because everyone has been wanting to ride this park since they built it 6 years ago. So even if you don't register to ride, PLEASE come watch and hang out and make friends with the owner and tell him that your 180's and tireslides AREN'T going to break his ramps.
Ok, now we have the grand opening of the concrete park in Lafayette which is an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DEMO THAN WHAT I JUST MENTIONED ABOVE. I just got off the phone with Brock Gomez and he informed me that some of the Icon riders and TBC Party! riders will be doing a BMX demo in addition to the skate demo by Skatespot. I do not have a date on this yet and I have no idea if it will happen before or after the Skatespot demo. These two things just so happen to fall around the same time but they are different events and they will be on different days.
I hope everyone is clear now. I know I have fallen off lately and I'm sorry peeps. I took 19 hours last semester, I took a winter class over the break, and I am taking 21 hours this semester. If you haven't been to college yet then just trust me when I say that 21 hours makes it hard for you to find time to poop. This is all on top of me working at Skatespot, doing an internship at The Independent newspaper, having a girlfriend, and trying to setup my photography business (by the way, my site is ALMOST done :). I know these are all kind of copouts but I figured I would kind of fill everyone in on why I haven't been riding too much. Hope all is well!
When I went back to Vegas for Christmas, I had to hand over the camera Colin left here in Louisiana. I told them that if I give it back, and I didnt see a webvideo soon, I would NOT be stoked. So I'm glad to see they put that bad ass camera to use. Here is an edit from a couple days with Raav, Colin, and a couple of the local dudes they ride with everyday. Make-up call for Chad Skorich!!
Ps. Raav and two of his riding buddies got there bikes stolen within like 2 weeks of eachother. Someone asshole broke Raav's car window and stole his bike in the broad freaking daylight! keep your bikes locked up and in a safe place, suckas. People suck
They started forming everything up. Notice they put a shitload of lye everywhere to dry it up so they can finish digging. Hopefully I'll have a grand opening date in a week or so. Cheers.
