Hey guys, this may be the most important thing I have ever posted on this site. Pay close attention!!!

THIS TUESDAY, AUGUST 21, THERE WILL BE A COMMUNITY MEETING AT THE PERKINS ROAD BREC PARK FOR THE PUBLIC SKATEPARK. THE MEETING WILL BE FROM 5-7 PM. THIS IS A COMMUNITY INPUT AND DESIGN MEETING.

So here it is guys. I haven't been able to find any official notice on the BREC site about this meeting (big surprise), but I have been told by several people that the meeting will feature several of BREC's planners as well as a representative from the company that won the bid to build the concrete park. This is our chance to show not only BREC but the builders that there is a HUGE BMX community in Baton Rouge and South Louisiana that has been neglected for too long.

I urge anyone who checks out this site that can make it to this meeting to come out and voice your opinions. This is your chance to make sure the park includes stuff YOU want to ride.
