Useless Without Pictures

Trey, Jesus (Derek), Little Jeff, and I went to New Orleans yesterday to ride Fastlane along with some Tulane street with Hasslehoff. We had a blast. Fastlane is one of my favorite parks now and I see why Hasslehoff won that contest a while back. I couldn't get over how nice the Tulane campus was not to mention all the spots we rode in the short amount of time we rode.

Why did we ride for a short amount of time? Well, we were in a parking tower and as you may or may not know, sometimes there are large concrete horizontal pillars that are low to the ground. Unfortunately for Jesus, he did not realize how low one of these horizontal concrete pillars actually was and he got clotheslined by the pillar at a pretty respectable speed while trying to hop-manual a curb. He began bleeding out of the top of his head where he made contact with the pillar and we were all kind of shitting ourselves for a second there. Upon inspecting the pillar, there was a little bit of Jesus left on it. Blood was pouring all down his face but don't sweat it because he definitely walked back to the car just fine in fact while walking back, he said, as seriously as possible, "Man, why couldn't this have happened to Jeff" which provided about 5 minutes of funny for the rest of the group.

We drove to the Touro hospital E.R. and after we got there, we waited about 3 hours for Jesus to get about 10 minutes of stitches done. Just as we were about to walk out from impatience, the nurse made us leave the room so they could start numbing Jesus' head. 2 hours later, it's 5 AM and we're back home in Lafayette. Sorry for not taking pictures but thanks to Hasslehoff for keeping Fastlane open and giving shitty directions on the highway. IT'S GETTING HOFF IN HEEEEERRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!
