More interesting news Iowa St. in BR. Brad from Icon Visuals has been working on this gem of a poster for quite some time and it looks like they are almost ready for sale!!!
What's there not to like about this poster? It has Taj in it, its a limited edition (so hot right now) and its printed by hand right here in good ole Baton Rouge.
Mr. Jensen hard at work in his studio. Not quite sure when these babies will be up for sale but we'll keep you posted. In the meantime check out www.iconvisuals,com for updates and other Icon products.
Also, the list of sponsors for Nacho Ordinary Contest has been growing. Big thanks go out to Johnny at Sputnic (www.sputnic-bmx.com) and Shadow Conspiracy (http://www.theshadowconspiracy.com). Also, Flip over at Albe's mailorder will be sending some stuff our way (www.ables.com), so big thanks to those guys.
In other Baton Rouge news, local BMX and MTB veteran Hunter Roth is having another art show at Chelsea's Cafe tonight. The show features the artwork of Hunter and fellow artists TJ Black, Charles Barbier and many others. Several other shows are taking place tonight at studios around the Perkins Road overpass, so if you are in the neighborhood you should definitely check it out.
Some of Hunter's artwork etched into his skin for eternity.
Finally, the JoMoPro was in Joplin, Missouri last weekend and it was a BLAST!!! Autumn Ramp Park is RIDICULOUS!!! The riding at the contest was off the hook and it looked like everyone had a really good time. I shot and edited a video from the Pro finals that will be posted on Vitalbmx.com tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled for that one.
Keep your eyes on the site for the next few days to see the progress we've made on the ramp. What lies beneath 2 year-old plywood is quite a sight!
