Hey guys, I know this is super last minute but I just got an email from a skater in South Louisiana giving me this info:

"It looks like the city of Houma is gearing up for an epic battle. They are trying to get a public skatepark built, and I for one think it is about time. Anyone who has been busted for skating in Houma and Thibodaux can back me up on this. So, if any of you have the time, it really would be great if you could drive down to Houma to make the meeting. The more seats that are filled, the better. The City council has to see firsthand that there is a definite need for a skatepark, and every body in the building helps...

Once again, I know this is about as last minute as it gets but this is where things get done. Let's not this turn into another Hammond park. I'll be at the meeting (I was in Houma about an hour ago for work and got the email at my parent's house in Luling) and I will be sure to talk to some people and get some email addresses so I can keep everyone in the loop.
