Here's an edit from all the clips off my computer that weren't being used for something. I had no idea I had so much stuff, but this puppy came out to be almost 8 minutes long! So sit back and get relaxed, and check out some dudes riding their bikes around New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
After years of battling with substance abuse and being in and out of rehab and jail, Mandeville's young flatland rider Dickie Sanders took his own life the night before last. I think he was 20 years old... I probably hadn't seen Dickie since 2006 or 2007, but as one of Dickie's few friends, Terry Adams has always been pretty close to him though his ups and downs (lots of downs, unfortunately) and is pretty upset about the situation.
Terry wrote some words about Dickie, I pulled together some photos of him, and Mark Dandridge in Houston put together some video clips of him that are all o
n the Ride site...If anyone ever knew Dickie, you know how much he said the word "dude," so...
Dude, rest in peace, dude.

Danny Josa? Can't imagine there were a ton of people with gyros and no brakes doing 3 double whips at the anthills but then again it's 2010. Spotted this on T1 and I think it was shot by Joe Rich.
Are my favorite trick that I can't do. Danny Josa, screen shot.
So I finally have the details on the new private park in Lafayette. It's called The Spot Skatepark or just The Spot and I'm super excited about getting to ride there. Real cool vibe, there is talk of having different artists come in and paint the inside of the park, some of you may have heard of Michael Sieben... (hopefully that works out cause I wanna meet that dude!)
REMEMBER THIS ---> Bike nights will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 8 to 12 PM, $10 bucks. I'm super excited about this place because it's built well, has a super cool vibe, and there are some really fun looking obstacles that bikes can ride, too. Very street oriented park.
I'm hoping to see a bunch of faces next Wednesday.
"Cookies 'n' Koolaid" -Dave Wattigny, The Spot owner.
Saw some pictures by Shaw Guillotte from the anthill jam (or whatever it was called). Looks like it was a blast, bummed I missed it! :)
Hungarian Video. Abubaca to fakie to front flip. Bazsi and Danny both have full parts. Peep it.
ULTRATIGHT! from ride.hu on Vimeo.
This time from my awful cell phone camera.
Dave and I were talking about how someone will probably hit the ceiling on the first bike session (either on the taller quarter or the vertwall you can get speed for) and that he's going to put in the waiver that if you break a fluorescent, you have to fix it, haha.
