Posting this sucks. Ramp Age's last day is going to be Dec. 30th. EVERYONE come out for one last session and hang out at the last bike night jam. Sorry this is such short notice, I didn't think that it would actually happen and happen so fast. The skatepark is also for sale for $15,000 if anyone is interest or you know of someone that may be interested. If something doesn't happen soon then we will have to tear down everything and remove it from the building. So please spread the word and lets try and keep this puppy running.

Cody and I sometimes ride bikes. We were playing football and basketball and it was way too cold and we couldnt feel our fingers. so we decided to film a lil edit from our house (da pond) to a little basketball court a block away. we filmed this on an iphone4 in about 30 mins. peep dis shit.

After years of battling with substance abuse and being in and out of rehab and jail, Mandeville's young flatland rider Dickie Sanders took his own life the night before last. I think he was 20 years old... I probably hadn't seen Dickie since 2006 or 2007, but as one of Dickie's few friends, Terry Adams has always been pretty close to him though his ups and downs (lots of downs, unfortunately) and is pretty upset about the situation.

Terry wrote some words about Dickie, I pulled together some photos of him, and Mark Dandridge in Houston put together some video clips of him that are all on the Ride site...

If anyone ever knew Dickie, you know how much he said the word "dude," so...

Dude, rest in peace, dude.

So I finally have the details on the new private park in Lafayette. It's called The Spot Skatepark or just The Spot and I'm super excited about getting to ride there. Real cool vibe, there is talk of having different artists come in and paint the inside of the park, some of you may have heard of Michael Sieben... (hopefully that works out cause I wanna meet that dude!)

REMEMBER THIS ---> Bike nights will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 8 to 12 PM, $10 bucks. I'm super excited about this place because it's built well, has a super cool vibe, and there are some really fun looking obstacles that bikes can ride, too. Very street oriented park.

I'm hoping to see a bunch of faces next Wednesday.

So stoked. This is going to be a real dope park. The park is for my friend David Wattigny and it's going to be so sick! He's a super sick skater and he's built tons of concrete and wooden parks. Some of you may even remember him from one of the Transitions Jams. He was 1 of the 3 or 4 skaters that was shredding the Majestic Thrillseeker and not giving a s*** that it was predominantly a bike ramp made out of plywood that had suffered the abuse of weather in Louisiana. Gnarly.

He's giving bikes every other Thursday as bike night (with the other Thursdays being reserved for Old Dude Night which is predominantly older skaters).

Dave is a super cool guy and has lived in Austin on and off and is friend's with a lot of the BMXers out there and is totally down for BMX so keep checking back and I'll post updates as I get 'em. Real mean use run-on sentences btw.

I know this is mad late but I just wanted to say THANKS to everyone who came out to the contest and had a good time. Everyone that rode killed it and this was definitely the biggest contest I have been to in Louisiana with 55 bmxers competing! That itself is amazing. Thanks to everyone who rode, bought a burger, got a raffle ticket, the parents that came to watch, and everyone else that made all the emails, painting, long hours, and building worth it. Also, a big thanks to all of your sponsors that sent a bunch of sweet stuff that made it possible to give out a crazy amount of prizes and a dope product toss at the end of the night. hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know a few things that we've been talking about and some new sponsors that have been kind enough to make this a even more bad ass shindig...

Jon cam into town to get out of Baton Rouge and hang out and ride the new ramps at the park. We rode a bunch there, went to bar with Brock Gomez, and the next day rode street in the beautiful weather. Cant go wrong with that weekend! Here are a few Iphone pics I got.

Jon's bike was painted Colts colors before he came down, but he didn't want to get beat up so he changed it to the proper colors!

Ramp Age repairs and new shit!

Ryan, Brock, Crim, and I have started and plan on working on getting Ramp Age ready for the Contest April 24th. We still have a lot of work but thing are going together well and will be super dialed in and fun for the event. Here are a few pics Brock put on Facebook from tonight.

the mini is getting fixed and remasonited. new obsticle going in there for sure.

this section had MAJOR problems but we got it figured out and is dialed! new masonite coming right up

this was the major problem. fixed and ready to rock.

my favorite thing we got done today. new deck on the 6ft quarter, tightened up the coping, and new masonite makes this a damn perfect quarter .

more work tomorrow and we'll be open for bike night so come shred this stuff.

I've heard this Props section was amazing and a really good watch, so I was pumped when i saw it online. Definitely inspiring and makes you want to go ride and just have fun. Pure BMX and I love it. Watch this if you only watch one video this month.

also last night was was that monster energy jam at Skatespot in Laffayette. I'm really glad I was not a judge cause Broc Raiford, Danny Josa, And Cody Miller KILLED it. In the end Cody took home the win with a big truck driver to seal the deal and won that bad boy. He also won best looking rider there so the night was a total victory for Cody! Ricky Mosley is in town doing a BMX show in Kenner, LA tonight. It's at the 1st Baptist Church in the parkinglot at 1400 Williams Blvd. Go check it out if you want to see bmx stuntery, flatland, unicycles, and who knows what else. Show starts at 7.

and watch this video and tell me Garrett Reynolds isn't the fucking best. Insane! come to the contest April 24th and you may get to see him do some stuff like this

Some skaters just made this addition to the bowl. I'm about 99% sure you won't be able to ride it but it'll be sweet to watch people skate it. Actually, Jon Rogers will probably be able to ride it thanks to his Lake Chuck brick tranny training from back in the day! ;) Btw, the transition looks uneven in the picture but it ain't! :)

"Hey, it is on again this year. The next bike night is going to be in conjunction with the Rick Thorn's Rhymes and Grinds tour March 22nd. Same deal as last year. Live music, a bike session, skate session, bike and skate jams and there will be a winner of each getting free shit from Monster and Famous. The only thing different this year, they will have sponsored riders, BMX and skate, from Monster and Famous. Thanks DUUUUUUUUUUUDe. I will let you know if anything else comes up."
